Legolas

For all you Legolas crazed fangirls out there, here's a pic to soothe the savage beast. No pun intended. I don't have anything to say about Legolas, since his very appearance demand that all his fans learn all there is to know about him. So please enjoy the pic.

Celeborn

Here is a pic of the ever handsome Celeborn. As I'm sure you already know what I'm about to tell you I'll make it brief. Celeborn is the Lord of Lothlorien and husband of Galadriel, Lady of Light. Though his appearance in the movies is brief, Celeborn is an enigmatic character who brings attention to himself through his presence alone. I've known plenty of girls, and a few guys, who would love to trade places with Galadriel, just so they bask in Celeborns unmatched masculenity. Now, before anyone gets offended, I'm not saying that he's better looking than Legolas. But where Legolas is light and slightly effeminate, Celeborn is without a doubt, one hundred percent male. Now, Ilike Legolas too. In fact, I think he's three flavors of hot. But I do prefer my men a little more masculine. Celborn offers a delicious combination of beauty and masculine pride. Perfect in my opinion. I don't expect you to agree with me, and to be honest, I don't care if you disagree. We all have our own opinions and that's all that matters. Please enjoy the pic.

Merry and Pippin

Okay, so, here's a pic of Merry and Pippin, the infamous duo. These two are always in some kind of trouble and are practically inseparable. They are truly poster boys for mischief. But despite their playful nature, both hobbits have a deep sense of loyalty and affection for their cousin Frodo. Both swore to protect Frodo with their lives in his quest to destroy the ring in the first movie. I'm sure we all remember that scene during the council Lord Elrond called where it seemed like hobbits were coming out of the walls, they appeared so randomly. I was actually waiting for Bilbo to pop up when I first saw that scene. But humor aside, these two are wonderful characters who provide a sort of comic relief, as well as providing an interesting insight on life. They display a remarkable amount of wisdom and courage despite their small stature and playful personalities. They give depth and meaning to a wonderful story. I hope you enjoy this pic and have found a new respect for these brave little trouble makers.

Thanksgiving Greetings!

Happy Thanksgiving! I know it's an odd time to be posting anything, but I thought it would be a nice idea to serenade all the wonderful food we'll be eating with some pics of four of our favorite hobbits who would probably kill to have a holiday devoted to eating good food. After all, is there anything a hobbit loves more than eating?

Arogorn

For all you Aragorn fans, here's a lovely pic of him with that, oh so intense look, that we've all come to know and love. Wait, did that make any sense? Damn it! Looks like I need those writing classes after all. Man that sucks. Well, enjoy the pic every one.

Gimli

Okay, Gimli is not one of my absolute favorite characters, but I admit that I enjoy his sense of humor. I'm sure there are people out there who absolutely adore Gimli, so I'm posting this pic in their honor. I'm sure you'll recognize which scene this is from, even though it only appears in the unedited version of the movies. Why did they have to cut out so much wonderful blood and gore? Such a waste.

Erestor

I don't remember ever seeing this guy in the movies, but this is apparently a pic of Lord Elrond's advisor, Erestor. Those of you who have read any of the Tolkien books probably know who he is. Those of you who've only seen the movies, I don't know what to tell you. You'll just have to read the books. Enjoy the pic.

Glorfindel

This is a pic I found when looking for pics of Glorfindel. I'm assuming that this is Glorfindel and that he was in the movies. If anyone can tell me otherwise, I would greatly appreciate it. Enjoy.

Thranduil

The pic on the far right is one someone drew of what Thranduil, Legolas' father, supposedly looks like. Since I couldn't find any pics of him from the any of the LOTR movies I decided to use a pic from the 1970's version of The Hobbit for comparison. I personally think the one on the far right is more realistic to how he looks. I really don't think Legolas would look the way he does if his father really looked like the cartoon. But that's my opinion. Feel free to tell me what you think.

Elladan & Elrohir

This is a pic of Lord Elrond's son's Elladan and Elrohir that I found on photobucket. I've never seen how they're supposed to look since they don't make any appearances in the movies that I know of, so I'm just gonna assume that this is as close a likeness as they could get to the real thing. If anyone can say different then feel free. And if you can point me in the direction of a site that has their pics, please do so. But I still hope you enjoy the pic.

The Two Towers

This is yet another pic from the second LOTR movie. I believe this is from the scene where Aragorn and the others are riding for Edoras. And I'm not quite sure I spelled Edoras right. If you can correct me than feel free. I hate it when I mispell something.

Helms Deep

This is a pic of one of my favorite scenes from The Two Towers. This is a scene from the morning after the battle at Helms Deep. I just love how every time there's a battle Gimli and Legolas have a little competition to see who can kill the most enemy soldiers. Those two are such children when it comes to battles. Don't you agree?

The Fellowship

This is a pick of the fellowship from when they're in Rivendel. This particular scene is when members of all the different races on middle earth pledge their loyalty to Frodo as the ring bearer during the council Elrond had called. Those of you who are true LOTR fans should appreciate this tribute to the fellowships beginning.

SORRY!!!

Hey everyone. sorry it's been so long since I last updated. Things have been a little hectic lately. And to show you how truly sorry I am, I'm going to be posting several pics right now. And again, I'm really sorry.

HELLO!!!

Hello all! If you've seen my other blog you'll know that I'm kinda random in what I post and when I post it. I can't promise you that this blog will be any different. But I do promise to try updating a little more regularly. As you can tell from the header above this is a blog dedicated to the lord of the rings and the truly random humor based on it. I hope you enjoy what you see here and I sincerely hope that none of you are offended by what you may or may not see. Enjoy.
